Remonte fits me so well and gives support where I need it

I knew the shoes could not be returned because of sale. I contacted someone before I ordered to make sure I was getting the correct size. They referred me to the size chart and suggested 38. I wear a 7 1/2. When the shoes arrived the end label only shows size 7. Nothing about 7 1/2. I was displeased.

I love my other remonte shoes, but these are significantly less comfortable than other pairs I have bought. They're requesting a lot more breaking in. They look nice and I still appreciate the ability to swap in custom insoles, but the uppers feel much more rigid than other pairs (also leather) I've purchased previously.

Well made shoes and they look just as pictured. I have another pair from a few years ago in a similar style that I love and was hoping to replace with these. However, the fit of these is much tighter across the upper part of the foot so I can't wear them. Unfortunately I gambled on a "final sale" and I'm unable to return them. Oh well....
